I have the same discussion on a french forum.
They have loock the data list and say,
it's the same waveform for a lot of them, they have the same name !
And my answer was : the same name but different : number of samples use in each waveform, compression ratio, lot of thing can be change on the waveforms.
They say that there is a few 8 element in the data list and Phill explain yesterday why for example the preset A1 have 8 element and the data list show 2 only for this preset.
And now your post explain how the Xs is different with new tone generator, new CPU, new UI ...
So thank you Athan it's fall on the perfect time to explain how the Xs is really different!
