Song, Pattern modes
I've been using my Motif 7 for a couple of years now. Love the sounds but the sequencing is still stuck in linear mode. Does the XS update to allow for pattern sequencing and jumping around in a song by cuing up patterns (rather than the non-musical direct jump)? Right now I have to use an Akai MPC1000 for that type of live music performance. I've also come across a piece of software call Maestro that even beats the Akai for live performance (you should try it, it's only $99). You can cue up patterns, loop (repeat) patterns by hitting a button, unloop when you want, the next pattern plays after the current one finishes...real performance stuff.
Hoping the XS has upgraded it's song performance capabilities. Any luck?
