Is anything ever perfect?

I love it. You make some great points about the creative process and the fleeting nature of inspiration. This is why the UI has become so important to me in all kinds of areas I was less concerned about when I was younger -- and had more disposable TIME and less disposable INCOME. I enjoy the creativity of making new music, playing the instrument, etc. Tweaking sounds can be fun, too, but tends to eat up LOTS OF TIME. The artrist in us wants to hone our creations over and over until they are perfect. However, is anything ever really "perfect." Sometimes getting to a point where something can be called "done" is all I can do. For me, the Workstation as embodied in the ES, and now XS, is where I want to spend my time. I am still anxious about trying out the XS even though I am very happy with my ES and expect to be for years to come!
